June Elliott was also known as June Shelley and appear in 2 other Sherlock Homes episodes. The Case of The Nuerotic Detective, and The Case of the Laughing Mummy. In the "Laughing Mummy she was billed as June Crawford. Miss Elliott was Shirley MacLaine's stand-in in in the film My Geisha (1962) and had a small role in Flight from Ashiya (1964). Returning to Europe, she lived in France for 17 years and was married to writer Sidney Shelley. She became _The Rolling Stones''s personal assistant when they came to France for a tax exile in the 70's. She also acted in several films that were shot in Paris, among them: The Sandpiper (1965), Trois chambres à Manhattan (1965) and Der Mörderclub von Brooklyn (1967). She returned to America in 1980 and worked for ABC for 13 years, followed by 5 years at RKO. She wrote a book about her life which has been optioned for a film. She is currently writing a screenplay based on the book.
