This Sheldon Reynolds production is SO way off the mark. Scenes wasted on the firing of a revolver indoors is pointless, in lieu of Holmes actually surveying the streets and environs surrounding the pawn shop owned by the red headed man lured from his office. This deprives the viewer of Holme's spectacular logic processes. Similarly, Doyle's preparation of the pawn shop's new employee willing to work for half-wages is totally absent. In total, an inaccurate and vapid rendition of the correctly written story! Boo! Overall, a waste of time for actors and their viewers. Read the book instead!
