Poor naruto. Hes going through so much loss this. I cant wait to see the vengeance he inflicts for it all. I was sad to see what happen, it took all 6 pains to bring him down. He died like a true hero.

It's been a while since an anime made me feel. Strong emotions are not something that Naruto has been known for, and yet, when it finally happened, the tears threatening to spill from my eyes made me realize the power of this story and why, for nearly 10 years, we have followed it without question. Good bye, master Jiraiya, thanks for the memories.

Now two of the three Leaf Sannin are dead... AND HE WAS MY FAV CHARACTER OF ALL TIME! Who will ever forget the pervy sage who only wanted to make a name for himself, complete his destiny, and get into Tsunade-sama's pants? ジライヤ様が大好きよ～! Hopefully Kishimoto-san will find a way to bring him back (some transportation to the Toad Mountain for emergency healing?) But that would be almost too much. No matter what, Jiraiya-sama went out like the Ero-Sennin (エロ仙人) he is--ジライヤ様が一番の忍者だったね！

Manga does have the story and all the twist but in this episode anime beats reading manga big time.. kind of sad that I have to praise the episode which has the tragic ending :(

It was good. Although I get frustrated by these long flash back scenes that give the feeling they are more interested in wasting time than providing good substance and animation.
