The documentary has failed to present the heinous genocide committed against the "intelligentsia," the educated youth and future leaders of the country.
The documentary has failed to present the faction between Imelda and Ver, and their joint guilt in the murder of Benigno Aquino.
The documentary has failed to present the insane comments of Imelda such as: the presence of a hole in the ozone layer that allows blessings to flow directly to the Philippines, in her answer to the question posed by the international press, why there were so many faith healers in the Philippines.
The documentary has failed to present the shame Imelda brought upon the country wearing a tiara around, held in question by the British royalties.
The documentary has failed to present the real direct effects of Imelda Marcos' uncontrolled rape of the national coffers that pushed the Filipinos to live in abject poverty.
The documentary has failed to truly demonstrate the depth and value of the criminal greed of Imelda and her unconscionable spending and lavish lifestyle.
The documentary has failed to show the number of Filipino-owned businesses that the Marcoses forcibly took for themselves.
The documentary failed to show Imelda behind the influx of foreign-owned businesses into the country rendering Filipinos as virtual slaves in their homeland. The documentary failed to show the 10% grease money taken by the Imelda and husband for every foreign investment allowed into the country.
The documentary failed to expound on the dire effects to the Filipinos as a result of the forcible closure of opposition and independent media, and how the controlled media bombarded the Filipino people with the made-up greatness of Imelda.
The documentary has failed to present Imelda's revenge against the Romualdez' matriarch for having treated her as an outcast, not that I really care for the tycoons.
Imelda has been and still is no different from the Little Edie of the Grey Mansion infamy. She has created a fantasized life so replete of reality. Imelda is serious drama queen who would hold prey anyone who'd buy her pathetic "pity me party" gimmicks. How could anyone find sympathy for this woman who have caused so much pain, in a wide array of ways, to a nation?
I hope no other first ladies in the future would every emulate her or prove to be like her, not only in the Philippines, but anywhere in the world! It is such a national curse to have a first lady like her. And this goes for her equally notorious dictator husband, Ferdinand.
