Live a little bit more and get back to me, Dennis. Including time as a woman. Between men like Randy, and men like many at large, women can't win: you dress conservatively and "zip up", men will call you a prude and frigid; dress openly and show that you actually have a body, and you're cheap with "no self-respect."
The pilot isn't flying around in a g-string and pasties, Dennis... she's in an army captain, a war vet, working in a tank top and a flight suit. If it were a man, this would be a ridiculous point to comment on. And Randy's freaking out like that's whorish.
And you say I have no self-respect for protesting that.
You don't have *any idea* what a woman's self-respect feels like -- you've already made up your own standard about what that should be based on what a woman is wearing, which means you aren't giving any thought to what *her* standard is on the inside of that skin.
So here's an example of self-respect from a very educated, traveled, and self-supporting female for you, Dennis: my self-respect has absolutely nothing to do with what I wear. I wear my clothing -- they don't wear me. And that includes not feeling the need to dress "zipped up" so cro-mags like you won't judge me as a woman of low morals with "no self-respect."
Try *that* suit on for size.
PS: And breasts aren't "reproductive organs," Dennis. You need to re-set your thinking about women. The fact that you qualify all distinctively female anatomy as "reproductive organs" shows maybe *you* do still think of women as "jus fer makin' babies."
PPS: "jus fer makin'"? I'm also originally from the South... apparently you have some prejudice about that as well.
