The whole Bluehand thing really bothers me. It may just be me, but the whole principle seems illogical. If I understand correctly, the basic idea is that they can do whatever they want since they know they'll be dead within a few months. This makes no sense. Why would you kill yourself today just because you know within a few months (or days, or years....) that you'll be dead? I understand the concept of no longer fearing it because it's become more "real" to you in a sense, but shooting yourself in the head because you believe you'll be dead in 6 months is just dumb. By that logic why wouldn't everyone live everyday like that? After all, we all know for a fact that we will all die one day. Sure they're working with a window of six months max, but I don't think that makes that much of a difference. What if the FF was 6 years in the future. Would these people still choose this path? If you knew you would die next weekend would you jump off a cliff today? I know I wouldn't.
