I dont recall for sure i think there were 2 movies originally. the night stalker and the night strangler, the second one was about a man 100s of years old living under Seattle and killing people every 20 years or so to remain youthful i loved that onei have not finished watching this episode yet but it seens simillar

First thing you have a woman play and touch your face. You look at her and feel that she is really acting funny. She calls you later at home during dinner and you have mixed emotions, but you take off anyway for a story. You get there and see the doctor , and you ask him what is he doing there. His mother put a needle in your arm, you ask him, are you just going to let this happen. You are at the front door, you hit the mother in the head, but take off down the hall of the house. Why??? You are standing at the front door, just turn around and run. I can't believe that writers really thing that we need so much action, until they really believe that we are so stupid. Maybe thay need to change writers. Oh, maybe that why this show didn't make it. Iy's not always the stars the reason a show close, it's poor writing. I like this show, but if the writers can find a better way to keep up into the show, well they need to go, not the show. Really, run in the house and you are already at the front door. PLEASE!!!!!
