On the internets it is often hard to detect sarcasm. Many times, well-meaning intelligent marijuana users look foolish when their satire radars inexplicably cease to function.
"It seems that many people, potheads or otherwise, have difficulty detecting sarcasm," said Dr. Smokes-a-lot of the University of Lighten Up. "But I would have expected marijuana users to be more receptive to its effects, due to their higher THC to body ratios, and schooling in the way of weed movies." The doctor then proceeded to light up a fat one.
Failure to analyze underlying messages and their meanings is an alarming trend among today's internet users.
"Pro-marijuana activists are sometimes so caught up in defending the very valid cause of marijuana legalization that they attack the mediums and messages that may actually benefit pro-cannabais efforts." said Cornelius Blaze of the University of Are-U-Serious-U-Guys-Need-to-Smoke-More-Weed-If-You-Believe-That-This-is-A-Real-Movie-or-Antismoking-PSA.
