At first the voice acting did sound a little like bad anime dubs, but after a while I think get used to it. I got some emotion out of the voice actors' delivery, so it wasn't that bad. I thought they were trying to power up the Delorian- 1.21 gigawatts!
the special efx were really good, but the english dialog-dubs were horrible. I wish HULU would have gotten the chinese version with subtitles. Watching it with english dubs made it annoying to watch and made it seem like I was watching a japanese cartoon. The fight scenes were excellent and very well directed and the concept for the story was a good one, but again the dilaog was horrible..."take the pebble from my hand grasshopper"...
This movie is boring. I love kung fu movies, probably watched more than most people. I gave this movie 3 chances to entertain me. I couldn't get to the halfway mark... If you like this genre, please look up 'A Chinese Ghost Story III'.
