A really interesting show about musicians that pour their heart and soul into their music. It's really well produced and interesting to watch and makes me feel like these are actually real people we're talking about and not just some pop icon.
In response to The_Bandhouse; Just because they aren't your favorite band doesn't mean you have to dislike them. A lot of the bands that they cover on the show are far different from what I would listen to normally. But to say they aren't real musicians is naive. You can't discredit a band just because they don't play in the same style that you're used to.
Besides life would get boring if everything sounded like Dream Theater or Deep Purple. Sometimes you need a little bit of flavor to go with your coffee. Maybe a bit of Hendrix, ELO, Thelonious Monk, Chopin, Depeche Mode, Incubus, Blind Melon, NIN, Daft Punk, and even Kanye West. I think I covered enough different genres with that listing.
I hope you got the point. Because too many people fail to realize that music is about expression and as long as you believe in what you're doing there is somebody out there who will appreciate it.
