A good old flick and it did seem a little like the Night Stalker. However,Kolchak The Night Stalker starred Darren McGavin. Wish Hulu would put that on to watch. Always did like that series.
This is worth a look if you like a tiny bit of whodunnit, and don't mind cheesey wolfman makeup. Not scary at all though, felt like an episode of Columbo for a little bit.
