This episode includes a typically lame attempt at comedy. This attempt at humor depicts Adam's foolish overreaction to a casual remark that he was nothing special in bed. He even goes so far as to prepare a list, with accompanying depositions from women he has bedded, to "prove" that he was "special". This is creepily reminiscent of the scene from the movie, "The Caine Mutiny", in which Captain Queeg metaphorically turns his ship upside down in an effort to gather evidence that allows him to assert that he has proved "with geometric logic" that someone on the crew had stolen a small quantity of strawberries from the galley. In "Caine" the incident is used to demonstrate Queeg's serious mental illness and unfitness for command. In "Brian" it is apparently intended to be uproariously funny. This quality of humor needs to be accompanied by a laugh track, so the viewers will know when they are expected to chuckle or guffaw.Note: My rating of this episode was based on the Dave and Deena segments.
