Hulu - Movie Trailers: The Canyon

Just when you thought Hollywood couldn't get ANY stooopiderer!

The plot: "Bad stuff happens to stupid people." Gee, that's original!

This mess is completely unbelievable and in no way entertaining. Blech!

BTW, that's quite a mule ride! To start in the GC and wind up in a slot that just so happens to look an awful lot like like Antelope. Depending on where you start, it's at least 50 miles by air, quite a bit more if following trails.

Yeah, this looks terrible. 1st, most of the scenes looked like they were filmed at Antelope Canyon in Paige, Arizona, or in Escalante, Utah. Other than the shots from the rim, nothing looked anything like the Grand Canyon.

Also, there are no wolves in the Grand Canyon. The Mexican wolf was just reintroduced 10 years ago, and is only in eastern Arizona/New Mexico. This is just lame, becuase they could have been faced with the real intricacies of surviving extended periods of time int he desert without food and water, but instead the filmakers decided to make it more exciting by having them fighting wolves.

The wolves seem like a crutch for bad writing/acting.

There hasn't been any documented attacks on people from wolves in the wild. Attacks only happen when unprofessional people try to tame them and they lose their natural fear of us.

Yes. Aren't there rangers and cell phones? I hiked rim to rim last year and I (perhaps magically) had reception at the very bottom. See 4 other replies
