Bram Stoker's Legend of the Mummy

Not for nothing Brad, but it would be really hard for Bram Stoker to ruin it since he wrote the novel on which it was based, "The Jewel of the Seven Stars" and because he's been DEAD since 1912...

This movie is not worth the video tape it was recorded on. It bad on all points, acting, casting, script, direction, lighting, etc. I watched the first 20 mins or so, my head began to hurt, I think I have a brain tumor now. Do NOT watch this movie! It SUX!

See why you should respect the dead. Some things should not be tampered with. The movie was great and it took away from from this, yet this is a good movie to watch. I liked Al, Tim the tool mans side kick, they shouldn't killed him off.

Stevie Wonder could've seen this coming. Grateful that the mummy story is interesting in itself. So much so, that not even Bram Stoker could ruin it. Could have been done do much better....but then, I am no director either...

It's still not a great adaptation, and the acting was mostly terrible (and the special effects awful too), but the oddly paced plot was pretty driven by the original novel. More so than The Awakening, which is another movie based on the same book. The "surprise" ending was actually based on Stoker's additional rewritten ending from 1912. See 5 other replies
