Boring in the ring, no. You're right about everything you said in that first paragraph.

Because of that, The Undertaker will never lose at Wrestlemania or tap out. (Which he has never done)

Personally, I think he's only improved in the ring. He carried Batista to, in my opinion, was the best WWE match of 2007 at WrestleMania 23 and his match with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 25 was EASILY the best thing about the show and its saving grace. In fact, HBK vs. Undertaker was probably the best WrestleMania match since HHH vs. HBK vs. Benoit at WM 20.

I can see why some fans might sour on him though. It's really not fair that he beat CM Punk for the championship, who is/was the hottest relatively new star in the company. It's not fair that he comes back whenever he wants and wins. But to say he's boring in the ring, I can't agree with that. See 3 other replies

This episode was better than a lot of recent Smackdown's, but their focus on narrative was almost ridiculous. What's the opposite of breaking the fourth wall? Whatever they did, it leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I really don't want to see Smackdown turn into a television drama where a referee making tough decisions is the star. I'm sure they won't keep this going much longer but the close-ups were completely unnecessary.

Let me begin by saying I have hated The Undertaker. His matches are boring, he has never been interesting, and I am fairly sure his fans come to the arena in monster trucks. When I was young, I watched wrestling every week, taped whatever Monday night brand I didn't watch, and watched it Tuesday night. But, even when I thought wrestling was the best thing in the world, I still hated the Undertaker. And, what has survived still to this day when I tune in? The Fraking Undertaker! I give up. I am a fan now. I will every match he has from here on it, find some virtue in it, and speak fanatically about how great he made that match because of it.
