I understand where the writers are wanting to go. I get the impression that Ashley was hot stuff. In whatever angle. But Kate is... underwhelming me. She may be a good actress but there is no chemistry here... at least from what I can see. I will wait to see what happens next.

It is easy to see what religion some people are NOT, lol. But more than that, where possible prejudice lies.

As far as my thoughts went, humans need some sort of closure, and this was a ceremony for closure(or the beginning of it), although not quite a memorial service. I was not aware such a thing only happens in one religion. They only had a few minutes; out in real life, each person would probably have shared a memory or two.
