this show is the heights of ignorance at times.In answer to what was across your camera lens when you pointed it in the same spot it was spider floss from a web.god people! And thank god you were at least speaking native to the little haintsy running in the woods.It was also insulting that you actually have the audacity to discount people who live in the jungle with the little haintsy as not knowing the difference between a bipedal and a pig.kiss it .kiss the pig racist idiots!

another show about traveling to some distant land to hear spooky noises in the dark. Hey, night-vision makes everything look scary - check. Cameraman with cerebral palsy -check. TV executive that can green-light typical shows like this one besides it's massive travel budget- check. Yeah. Dam right the one guy cracks jokes every other scene.... He's got the best job in the world and he knows it. Good for him.

Do they ever find definitive proof. No. But it is entertaining. I especially like the host Josh. He's funny and makes viewing worthwhile. Poor Jael. He always puts her in the most uncomfortable situations, she has perpetual deer in the headlight eyes. Of course we know now there is an electromagnetic field in the Bermuda Triangle that causes all the problems. And as the one local says, it screws up the instruments and people lose their bearings. Not really a mystery. Every society has their "boogie man," their own local folklore of monsters. But it's interesting nonetheless, and entertaining with Josh's sense of humor. Probably the most compelling evidence they've ever come back with was when in the haunted forest, the camera man was thrown several feet backwards. They got that on camera and unless staged, which is always a possibility, was the best evidence they've found anywhere. The sugar cane fields in Egypt was also compelling as we could hear the growling. But, often eyewitness testimony is flawed. And while they think it might be a "creature" it was more than likely a big wolf or rabid large dog. All in all, I'll still watch this show. Because Josh is funny.

...but these Destination Truth crew are hardly jocks either. I state this in response to earlier communications. While I really enjoy the exposure to new creatures and folklore that I haven't been aware of, the "running around in the dark forest" thing is getting a little old. Invariably there is some type of sound/growl/scratching, everyone jumps, and 2-4 people start shouting "Oh my god! Oh my god!" Please.I very much wish the show would take more investment in each folkloric tale, taking time to learn when and how each story has originated. Unfortunately, I know the budget requires the show to move along quicker. Better research is usually more boring for the investigators, and requires more time and energy. As I'm watching too much now, I'm no longer going to watch this one. In a word, it is simply too inane, even for me. However, more power to those who love Josh and his melodramatic crew.
