I watched the first one a few years ago and it changed the way I saw Walmart. That, plus I moved to a very small 'city' with few stores, where I had to drive more than 40 miles either way to find merchandise I needed. Before that I was a Walmart snob-never entered the store. We now have a super center. The only big supermarket here used to charge more than any of their other stores located 40 miles away. Why? Because they could. Their prices are slowly going down now that they have competition. I sometimes buy at a local pastry shop but to be honest their pastries aren't as tasty. I worked for Walmart part-time for 3 months. I quit because I didn't really need to work but I still am friends with many of the people there including management. On the other hand, I worked part-time for Target, which is mentioned in this documentary, and I would never work there again because the working conditions were horrible unlike Walmart's. I used to organize unions years ago and then I worked for one in their benefit office. We were treated like hell by our employers (yes, the union). Yes, Walmart has many problems but in comparison, I know of worse employers.
