I thought this family was very deserving. Their is a lot of training and hard work that goes into being a member of a swat team.I have a couple of friends who are on swat team and they don't make nearly the salary they should.My heart went out to the husband and his family I really do hope he walks again one day,he certainly has the determination.

This is a really inspiring program but why is there only 3 episodes after so much popularity and seasons? can anyone from Hulu add more please :)

it's a bit too emotional for my tastes, but I really like this show b/c of what they do for these families. And I think CVS is smart for donating so much. It makes me want to continue shopping there.

i remember hearing about this when it happend.... i almost went out to see it.

I think that the purpose of this show is twofold- one- to make money by providing an entertaining and inspiring show that tells a compelling story, and two-to help people. This episode is undoubtedly a success. While this family may not be struggling to put food on the table, it seems obvious to me that they were not secretly stashing away the tens of thousands needed to make the basic improvements and kicking back while EHM footed the bill. If they had plenty of money for these renovations, why didn't they fix up their house, buy therapy equipment, put a ramp out to the barn etc? I certainly wouldn't be surprised if the show portrayed the situation as more dire than it was- its a TV show after all. But, people generally don't live far below their means to the detriment of a handicapped family member. In addition, as far as I know, this is not a show about helping poor people. Its a show about helping people who have themselves given to and inspired others. Is there a tax bracket delineation, past which we withdraw our compassion?

This was the fist episode of Extreme Makeover I've ever watched, and only because it was one of Hulu's most viewed. I think I might start watching this show. I like the premise of giving back to families like this. Both Mr. and Mrs. Marshall deserve the respect that their community has bestowed upon them. They have an awesome home, and awesome friends too. Mr. Marshall is going to live a great life because he has GREAT people surrounding him.

Wow, great show. I cried so hard to see this family so happy. I love this family. I am so happy for them. Thank you to all the people who made their dreams possible. CVS Pharmacy rules. I am now switching to this pharmacy. If there is not one around me, I'll order from them online. I wish this family the best. You rock!
