On one hand, it is just a show... Something meant to just be enjoyed after the daily grind. On the other hand, the show (like a lot of mystery/detective shows) has a lot to do with analysis. (Especially this show.) That's one of the things that makes the show so fun. I think it also attracts people who are very analytical. Maybe that's why we have the various topics dealing with details in this forum. Actually, as someone who loves media (movies, television, etc.) and studied radio/television a bit in college, I get a kick out of when people notice something out of sync in a show that I hadn't noticed before. It's kinda fun reading the "goofs" section at IMDB and such. I don't get bent out of shape (hopefully) when I see that a show I had high respects for made a blunder. It just makes the entertainment that more entertaining for me being that I'm very analytical myself!
