On one hand, it is just a show... Something meant to just be enjoyed after the daily grind. On the other hand, the show (like a lot of mystery/detective shows) has a lot to do with analysis. (Especially this show.) That's one of the things that makes the show so fun. I think it also attracts people who are very analytical. Maybe that's why we have the various topics dealing with details in this forum. Actually, as someone who loves media (movies, television, etc.) and studied radio/television a bit in college, I get a kick out of when people notice something out of sync in a show that I hadn't noticed before. It's kinda fun reading the "goofs" section at IMDB and such. I don't get bent out of shape (hopefully) when I see that a show I had high respects for made a blunder. Thanks Bruce!!! How did we ever have the nerve to discuss set design in a critical manner???? We are such a-holes! Don't bother to think of the fact that maybe some people here are actually interested in this stuff, and like to discuss and learn from what we see elsewhere. This has everything to do with bringing a story together and making it a fun and believable adventure. So, when they make a scene that makes little to no sense, it takes us out of the story. We know it's just a show. But a show is only as good as its execution, and we are probably going to talk about it when it seems sub-par. But, thank Jeebus you're here now to let us know that we're all just being crazy. Thanks buddy-boy!

oh geeze people, does it really matter to you THAT much?
if it does, instead of using your brain power to explain why he shouldn't have been killed, why don't you use your brain power to explain maybe why he was unable to get out of what appears to be a non=threatening situation? He's MIT, right? Brainiac. They take time, they think, they analyze - so MAYBE, he was in a panic situation and he choked, had no idea what to do - WHAT? YOU have never had a dream where something terrible is happening and you can't scream? or run? or think straight?

They have conveyors so the trash moves down it, and at an incline so it would be difficult, also have you ever worked a night job there's a lot of fatigue, and its pretty easy with all those things to fall..., not wo mention trash slime on the moving belt   See 6 other replies
