I really hate the blurbs that are misleading or completely wrong on what the movie is about, such as in this case. Whoever writes them should pay more attention to what the movie is about than just guessing. I enjoyed the movie, which draws you in and pulls you along seeing the transformation of a shy insecure guy who thinks he knows what life is about until he meets someone that turns his world view around showing him what life can be like,

TS you could not have been more right. This movie flows easily and draws you into the lives of two men, both looking for love and meaning in life. I especially loved the DAF with the broken sunroof. It brought me back to a car I had when I was younger. I miss that car so. The use of a pillar as a device for creative concealment was both interesting and incredibly frustrating.

I enjoyed this film for the most part, but still had some questions at the end. Would've liked to see a certain camera shot without the giant pillar. The overall journey of the main characters was good. I wish I understood German, as I know these subtitles leave something to be desired, but, in general, they did the trick.

I thought it was great. I always muse over the purposes or requirements of a good/great movie. Haven't decided on that yet, I'll tell you if I do. Actually scratch that, I don't think it matters. If you take something from a film, then it has accomplished some requirement central to any work of art. (opinion subject to change) And so at the very least, I enjoyed watching this. It gives you two characters to immerse yourself in, study, ponder, or whatever else you might do. Not so much to criticize or judge their actions, but instead as pairs of eyes to look through. Sure, everything's hunky dory in the movies--but maybe they used that here to show something interesting? Intent, purpose, all the 7 wonderings of the world were brought up. And cliches were avoided, mostly. Thumbs up.The last few scenes leading up to the ending are rather good. Iffy about the ending scene though.

This movie was funny. Sure, the subtitles are all screwed up but that didn't weigh it down. The music adds a great deal to the mood of the film . . . I enjoyed the package : )
