These movies about the old TV series, (Starsky and Hutch, Wild Wild West, SWAT etc.) just prove to me that the writers in Hollywood can't come up with any new material and have to resort to characters and things that have been done before. I have yet to see any movie that has done justice to any old TV series! They should leave well enough alone. Magnum especially!

I actually could see McConauhey doing Magum. He is not the most versatile actor but the sexy P.I. thing is right up his alley. Although, I would hope for a lesser known actor that is more Magnum-y (I think it is appropriate to invent a verb just in this one case). :) See 4 other replies

I admire Sellecks integrity. But, if they do justice to the series, a movie would be cool. Matthew McConauhey, sp?, is starring in the movie, which comes out in 2010. See 4 other replies
