interesting episode, Kent McCord plays Johnny Depp's character's father in this episode, McCord had played a uniformed police officer on two different series the original "Dragnet" and "Adam-12" in the 70s, and later played the adult version of Boxey aka Capt. Troy on "Galactica 1980" a continuation of the original "Battlestar Galactica", he also played Ben Browder's characters father on "Farscape", and Ben Browder eventually went on to Col. Mitchell on "Stargate SG-1", where he worked with Peter DeLuise, and several other people who have been on this series, Don S. Davis is in this episode as well and played Gen. Hammond on "Stargate SG-1",.What's interesting is that in an earlier episode in season two, Holly Robinson's character tells Penhall played Peter DeLuise, that the only movies he likes are ones where the guys have guns and shoot at aliens from outer space. The original "Stargate" movie didn't come out until 1994, these episodes are from 1988.

I was getting tired of all the serious episodes about this and that. 4 cops and a janitor playing poker in a church and telling stories about there worst dates, and then you throw in Holly Robinson with her slammin body in that pink dress!
