I think its a refreshing change from the typical "make it as realistic as possible" animations. It lets the story be the focus through a series of stills and less about the animation. I think it's as close to reading a comic book as you can get in "animation". I'm a subscriber to this one! Those knocking it for the writing have way to high of expectations for comic book text and for people. We don't all talk like we have degrees in english. Listen to your co-workers when they're around "the water cooler".
