Okay, I've gotten over the fact that there's no REAL "Motion", or "animation" involved, and, having said that, the art work is nothing less than stunning and amazing, I rather like the "photo-realism" of the characters, the backgrounds, where, ironically, most of the "motion" takes place, is breathtaking and the story, short as it is, flows very nicely. High marks all around, keep 'em coming!
To all the complainers, this is a "Motion Comic," not a full-blown animated series like those found on regular cable tv. Motion Comics use voice overs & some form of flash animations, but nothing too 'intensive,' if you can call it that.Dark atmosphere, but it fits the character & the mood of the story. I suppose S.W.O.R.D is Marvel Comics' way of making a competing/companion agency with S.H.I.E.L.D (you know, as in a warrior having a sword & a shield).I will be checking out the rest of the Episodes.
I was pleasantly surprised I just watch the first episode of Astonishing X-Men before this (real crap aniamtion) and was expecting this to be as bad. The only real problem i have with this kind of stuff is that it's too short. 10 minutes per installment? Gimme a break.
