My version was funny but I think your version was more accurate. There may even be a chance that we get to see some of the details of this referenced in the next movie.I am guessing however that those doing the construction would have been given no details other than that they are settig up computers and the like in a secret facility...which they could just be told was a place for secret testing or the like. Chances are that nobody involved would even come close to thinking that they were working on somehting like a Batcave..for that matter it seems reasonable that Batman wouldn't even make it public knowledge that he had a secret hideout with technology in it so there would be littel to base a conneciton on. ...that is all assuming that Bruce and Alfred simply waited hutill construction was done and then installed the giant bat outline decorative casings on the computers and so on themselves.
