I really like the costuming in this show. They capture the essence of the characters very well. And the A-line dress/skirt is the most universally flattering, that and the pencil skirt look good on every body type, especcially women with curves.

The dress at the end is amazing! I think she always looks good.

I happen to love the dresses, coats & blouses that Brennan wears. The type of dresses are still similar to the ones she wore in the earlier season. Although, they did put her more jeans/pants the first two season. It would be out of character to put her in some of the long clingy type or really short type dresses & she has curves so an A line type dress would not look very good. I do love the clothes that Ange & Cam wear. As for makeup, I agree that it is excellent...but then again, all the women are very beautiful.

Brennan's hair and wardrobe this season have been horrid. These incessant dresses she keeps wearing make her look frumpy and she was much more striking as a brunette/red head as opposed to this light brown haired person with blonde frosted tips. Her hair looks damaged and fried at the ends due to the color. I much prefer the rich copper her hair used to be. It makes her look younger and brings out her eyes more. And I think her hair styles have also made her look old and frumpy. I remember her style improving in season 2 with the hair and wardrobe and I think they've regressed considerably this season. I'm disappointed in their ridiculous effort to feminize her with these nasty dresses and boring hair color and styles. Meanwhile, Cam and Angela look great. Hair and wardrobe is pretty much on point this season.
On a positive note, I do like Brennan's makeup. It's very natural looking and not overdone, which speaks to Deschanel's natural beauty.

Stupid interruptions!! They were so close! But I love the heightened awareness the two have of each other this season. They did before but it was much more subtle. Now I feel like they might actually get together, and I am very excited!! See 23 other replies
