Do you truly believe that it's not morally right to kill an evil person? If Hitler were alive today would you sentence him to death? Or would you let him live?Perhaps there are fates worse than death, but how many of those fates can you name that will actually be condoned? Would you rather physically torture Dibala? A man like Dibala who can mercilessly slaughter an entire race of people will not feel guilty or bad about the actions he has taken. He has no conscience. When faced with such a person, what can possibly be a worse punishment than death?We can not see beyond the immediate consequences of our actions. So perhaps Chase ended up killing more people than he saved. Good questions.The problem with being human is that we can never fully see beyond the immediate consequences of our actions. Perhaps what Chase did will actually lead to more deaths than if he let Dibala live. However, even then Chase's actions wouldn't be totally wrong.It's a simple matter of the question of whether or not the ends justify the means. Good and evil does not exist. At a fundamental level, there is really no good and evil in the universe. Everything just is. Good and evil is a judgment. To consider something better than or worse than is a judgment. Evil is something of inferior quality compared to something better, therefore a lesser good is considered evil when compared with a greater good.   See 169 other replies

what more can we do than do what we think is right? By the way chase is not a violent unstable human being. By your logic whenever a nation (or person) seeks to subject another to its whims, the oppressed should simply acquiesce and do nothing physical to stop them.
