Yes, Gilly is unfunny. As I said in the other discussion, usually I can put up with it. But there is something that just gets under your skin about this horrible skit.
It spoils Kristen Wiig's work and I can barely watch her in other things.   See 10 other replies

I agree with you that this skit is horrible, and the travesty of it is underscored by its being six minutes long! Of the all the clips that have been posted from this episode, this is the only one over six minutes, yet it has exactly one "joke" in the entire thing that keeps getting repeated. It's just a mind-numbing time killer.I do have to disagree with you, though, in your praise of Wiig. NONE of her characters are ever funny (and likewise few of her impressions). Whatever it is, there'll be one face she makes or noise, etc. that is repeated over and over again. Gilly is just the worst of them, but hardly atypical.I don't know if she's given these awful characters or she's just that unfunny, but whenever she's on my screen, I know it's a good time to get up for a drink.
