when i watched this EP i was very disappointed cause it felt like i wasn't watching one piece, the new style of drawing that they are using sucks because it looks and feels like they didn't put any effort in the detail it looks so flimsy. One of the reasons i fell in love with one piece was there old drawing style, it was like no any other anime i've seen.

I'm starting to dislike the series a little bit. Even though it is really excellent overall, the story is getting too easy to predict. And though the animation has improved I miss the robust feeling of the drawing style in the episodes before the skypeia arc. I could barely stand to watch this episode because the characters were so poorly drawn. Where is that old attention to detail? If you look closely, a lot of the shapes have no definition and just blend in with others.On a different note, the climactic cliff-hangers still keep me wanting more. I can always feel the emotion coming from these characters and can feel that simple connection towards them.

i think the animation has gotten better due to influx of money to the studio and hence the animators have more time to up the animation quality that and i guess new techniques have come out to make it look more fluid and engaging if you look at all the new anime coming out for the most part you will the animation is getting much better almost to the level of feature movies like ghost in the shell or even a miazaki film and i for one love it

I don't know what it is about the drawing style... It's not like your typical anime with the crazy eyes. It's a very unique cartoon that just works without the clichés I am so use to seeing in Anime.For example, the story for episode was just so different. I was watching that little girl in that episode and when that guy started to destroy her paintings, you could just feel the torture the kid was feeling and I felt so bad, she was such a cute girl almost broken to tears. It's not often that cartoons can make you feel that way. Very good anime, definitely different form the norm and really stands out. Good job translating it.

I watch One Piece's manga but still animations can be more fun.To those who haven't watch the Skypia(Sky Island) Episodes, which is mentioned by Robin in this episode, go watch it! The Skypia part is one of the most moving stories I've known. Hulu still hasn't got up to there, but you always can find them on youtube or somewhere on the Net. GOOD LUCK!

lol if you love one piece than you get japanese humor! I think it's difficult for Americans to understand Japanese humor and vice versa. The great thing about one piece is that it's about the human spirit of adventure and the weird creatures you won't see in other animes and cartoons these days.

Although it's great that they have ONE PIECE on Hulu, it's unfortunate that the U.S. anime industry failed to make ONE PIECE successful in the states on television. It has the best potential since it's the most popular manga in Japan right now.
Anyways, ONE PIECE never fails to disappoint, amazing episode! Robin is awesome possumm!
