People in his country could care less about his story... but since he has ties to our enemy, we listen.I think more americans should watch films like this. americans (i have to admit) are very narrow, simple minded people. the moment bush declared war on iraq i pictured a redneck, cowboy holding two guns slinging bullets in the air. i feel this country is by far the least intelligent people on this earth. having the strongest power in the world doesn't equal an almighty culture in any aspect. only leads to stupidity and painted red as a target, and we wonder why.yes, what had happened on 9/11 and previous events was tragic. but, in a sense isn't it a david vs goliath chain of events? how else were they suppose to disrupt our lives and stir our emotions? they aren't exactly a "modern military".im american. but, have little faith in my own goverment on doing what's right, or fixing what's wrong. we really have too many problems to be considered elite. yes, our military is the strongest in the world, but we bleed debt. i bet if they did a poll of active military soldiers from the age of 17-25, 60-75% would say they joined for finacial reasons. that being either to get an education after/during enlistment or the economy had lead them to sign on the line. pride for your country has little to do with your personal interest anymore. joining the military to me is a result of someone not knowing what else to do with their lives. so, they wanna sound like a hero by saying they joined for their country. kinda cold hearted, but i think it's true. everyone wants to be part of a whole, and be proud. instead of that person who sits back and watches. the military programs robots. in a sense you are no longer an individual. it's a deadly well oiled machine with endless havoc putting fear into nations. why question when someone stands up againest us? hopefully we will learn peace is the true fix in society.
