The veil is breached. Japan is infiltrated by agents of the organization S.W.O.R.D., a force operating outside of the protection of the United States and her allies. Their mission: Determine if the Japanese are developing banned robotic bio-technology.
everytime i watch this movie i always have to laugh at the fact that in the end, everyone is crippled- u gotta laugh when maria is limping after kisaragi who is also limping (still alive somehow). And ya know how vexille was also injured by that plane and leon was injured as well? (maria was supporting him in the elevator and he was struggling to reach vexille) LOL i find that funny, i noticed this when my friend was like:"why don't they let the person who can walk chase after him?" "..oh! they're all crippled!".also, did everyone notice how saito is wearing a different pair of shades in every new appearance right? haha stylish android *snicker* i'm not sure which is my favourite pair. Love the movie, great unexpected plot and ending. But my friends made it too funny when watching it. What was the trenchcoat guy's name? They were all screaming when he died, "what was his name!?". Was is Rio or something?
I would suggest that technology is neither good nor evil in fact I would say that it is not even a shade of gray. The fact is that we make technology and it has no more of a "will" than a stone. We make it there fore it is we who are the evil or good. If someone made a weapon that could destroy all of mankind would everyone use it the same way? MP3 is a good example of this. They can be used for illegitimate purposes that deprive people of there just payment for there creations the music industry also uses them with DRM (Digital rights Management) to chain people to a pay-for-play. Define good or bad (or evil) and you will find that it is all a matter of point of view. These are qualities that can not be endowed to machines, yet...

"f I understand it correctly the worms wouldn't eat him if he didn't have enough metal around him to attract them. So basically she used herself to attract the worms..... which left the other 2 out of harms way because she wasn't by them to attract the Zag's."S B, that is entirely correct - Maria, being infected by that virus, was about to die soon anyways, and there was nothing anyone could have done about it, so just like the rest of the city citizens she chose to make some meaning out of her death, and dragged the bad guy down with her (the bad guy who'd otherwise jump in the ocean and potentially survive the whole ordeal), while at the same time saving the two good characters. Given the nature of her "disease" and the overall situation she was in (her being all bio-metal, on an island made of metal, and surrounded by monsters eating metal), I think she did the right thing.

Rock has veins of metal ore, the worms would break up rock formations to get to it most likely - creating an essentially flat environment after a while.

It's all for dramatic effect of course...But I was wondering how on an island that looked to be made out of 100% metal, they would bother with little human-sized morsels. Maybe robot-humans taste like candy.

Tags are user-generated labels related to this video or show that can help you discover related videos on Hulu. Check the tags you feel are most appropriate for this show or add your own (the number in parentheses indicates how many other users have used that tag.) To find other shows with similar tags, simply click on the tag that interests you most.
Tags are keywords or category labels that can help you and others find videos on Hulu. They also classify videos for later recall. You can tag videos yourself by simply checking the box next to a popular tag for a video or by using the "add" field to create a new tag. Click on any tag — "comedy" for example — to discover other videos similarly tagged by you or other users. Because tags are reviewed by Hulu, there may be a delay in surfacing your tags. The most relevant tags are sorted by category for the rest of Hulu to see. You may assign up to 30 tags for any video or show; to review all of your tags, see the Tags section on your profile page.
Your tags may be visible to other users on Hulu. You should not use:
Profane or obscene language
Tags that are inciting or spiteful
Tags that might harass, abuse or threaten members of the community
Tags that may reveal your personal information or any personal information about children under age 13
Tags that promote illegal or immoral conduct
Tags containing special characters or more than 50 characters
