This show is pretty interesting after a few episodes. I just wish that it wouldn't have gone into "a break". After a few episodes, it becomes more appealing than frivolous. ...

Too bad the arrow didn't fly.

Ok, Valentine was pretty cheesy, but I have to admit, by the fourth episode I was totally digging this new show. The best aspect of this show was that it reminded me of my love for Xena, Hercules and all of those delightful Kiwi shows back in the day, strangely mixed with just a little bit of the mob. The major rolls were well cast, and I was really looking forward to seeing who it was that was threatening the Gods.

Sad to see this one go! Too bad the networks didn't give this one a chance, could have become a real cult classic!

finally

I love drama on TV. I am a fan of Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes and other hit shows. I find sometimes that watching these can make the world seem a little more depressing, and I like that a show like Valentine is focused on the idea that love is out there and that soulmates exist. Call me sentimental, but this is a welcome change in the TV line-up. I hope that it makes it!! As for the 'date-rape' gun.. I'm glad that they broke it and took it away for now.. It is an interesting addition to the show. Haven't you ever been completely attracted to someone that you wouldn't normally go for? For me, that is what the gun represents.. I think the charecter needs to learn how to use it wisely so that its not labeled the date rape gun.

Sgtmandella: Not really stolen per say

Sgtmandella: This show is somewhat of a remake of that show. If you look on ew.com you'll see several interviews about that same issue. It is actually produced and written by many of the same people who worked on Cupid. Personally I liked Cupid much more, but you can't steal if you're stealing from yourself.

Maybe it is like another show but honestly it is refreshing to watch something so light hearted in the midst of all the reality on TV.
