Ultimate Force

I think you guys are being hard on this show. I mean really, is this any better or worse than the tripe coming out of Hollywood? Being an American, I enjoy the differences in British programs, to wit; the style, accents, slang and production values. They seem to do more with less (as do the S.A.S.) and I like that. I also enjoy old American T.V. programs for their charm even though technically they are archaic nightmares. This Program immediately reminded me of a cross between THE SANDBAGGERS and THE FINAL OPTION. If you enjoyed these then you'll be interested in this program. Just don't expect anything other than escapism. If you want reality then watch the evening news. Oh yes, one last thing, 'Becca can pull a recon in my pants anytime she wants. Without her this show would be a sausage fest. So bollacks to all you wankers who prefer to toss-off to Rock Hudson in ICE STATION ZEBRA.

Great show if you have time to spare. The characterization in the first two seasons seemed promising, but seasons three and four threw me for a loop. Overall, if you're looking for an entertaining, action-filled show and have some free time, definitely watch this series. Also, I'm a rather diverse person, but quit hating on America.

The title itself is pretty comical so I didn't expect much. I'm healing a broken bone and can't move around so shows like this inbetween reading books are kinda fun. Completly agree seasons 1&2 best. The editing in 4 was, how do you say, not good. (Hulu didn't like the s word even though the show is rife with it.) Henno was great throughout. the introduction of Becca was fun, thankfully the Brit writers didn't feel they had to show boobs every episode, (they would have here in the U.S....idiots). Farfetched as it is, it made her more of the crew and great to watch her kick ass with the guys. i do cringe at the characterization of American tourists, we aren't all like that. There are crass fools the world over,all cultures all walks of life. I have to say my favorite by the end was the Colonel. Totally unflappable, quite callous, just loved his cheery, stonewalling, "Good for you!"

Except for perhaps 2 slow episodes this series is full of non-stop shoot 'em up, take no prisoners and leave no one standing action! Two enthusiastic thumbs up and any of the other yahoos on here who don't give it a 5 star rating just are wankers and don't know a good action show when they see one. Out.

I enjoyed the first two seasons of Ultimate Force. Not sure what happened after that (and as others have commented, the editing by Hulu in later seasons was HORRENDOUS). I got to the point where I just stopped watching it...However, that being said, in my humble opinion, The Unit is a far superior show in every way.

i thought this show was great! i watched each episode twice try it. i like just about anything military.
