Amen. Only pond scum treats their viewers this way! They'll even advertise you're watching a full episode of a full length show and you won't know it till it quits after 4 minutes or so. It's called bait and switch and false advertising among other things. I wrote to them and complained and they just sent a form letter that had nothing to do with what I said. I replied, same response.

While I haven't seen it yet, I have to agree -- and get the same feeling with Keifer Sutherland's new "web series", The Confession. I don't know about anyone else, but if I sit down to watch something, I'm usually in the mood for more than a 5 minute snippet. Then again, maybe it's my age ... just didn't grow up when a short attention span was trendy, much less when there was "ADD" psychobabble runnin' so rampant in the medical community that it's now acceptable to prescribe what amounts to legal meth to kids "so they can focus". (Though please don't start in with the character analysis/insults, as I probably won't read 'em anyway, grin ... In fact, it's been diagnosed within my own family with first my nephew, and then his mother/my older sister -- the latter of whom has handled her "debilitating ADD" all of her life, during which time she kicked tail through college and blue-suit heaven, until she started and keeps running one of the most profitable ad agencies around ... and yet, wow, somehow, she managed to do it all without poppin' super-speed. So, while no expert on the subject no matter my own psych education, I'm familiar enough with it to form a personal opinion.){Really hate disclaimers like the above, by the way, but I find they sometimes avert the trolls' wrath, lol ...}
