I love a good story about stealing. To many are either comedy, action, or so foccussed on plans members make to double cross each other th basic plot is pretty much over shadowed.
My own mother had died not to long ago ina random car accident so the sub plot of the step daughter was very intense for me, in fact it made me take qite some time to pick up after the first few episodes brought up some intense feeling.
Each and every action taken every step of the way seemed logical, motivated by a need to respond to challenge. All lead up to a climatic crime which was the climax. For a thief the success of taking and walking away is the sweetest part. If you get caught later for almost any reason it does not taint your plans success. Traitors and bad luck happen to the best in every business after all.
The end brought about solid closure for all characters. Some more tragically then others to be sure, yet that only makes the success for the others be all the greater. I like to imagine the one who was arressted had stashed his share and told his wife where it was so after a couple hard years she could go after it. As for the one who didnt make it I like to think he sent a text msg to his friend and boss telling him where he could get the soon to be ownerless share. Thats how I hope it played out anyways, and if the guy who was arrested kept his mouth shut and played smart he might walk away as little more then a hired distraction who knew nothing and no one.
I highly recomend this series to those who want to see good bad guys pull a solid epic crime and have a pretty good success rate.
