Sorry, I missed the stars. Would have put five.

I am hard on movies and anime by certain criteria, and I know what is good. This is good. Good story, good original score, and well defined characters. Right away you are drawn in, wanting to know what this strange girl's story is, and wanting her to blossom in some way. There was a very real quality to her, even among quirky jokes famous with Japanese anime, but that is what I love about it: the sheer weirdness you can't get anywhere else! I just loved this girl. I wanted to ask her out. I wanted to hold her. I wanted her to celebrate her weirdness and find happiness with the beautiful golden haired boy. Totally loved it. - Rick Bruce - Furturisticwave

I'm a reviewer so i usually give shows more of a shot than most but i must admit i couldn't make it past the 2 minute mark because of the HORRIBLE ART. They cant draw male faces AT ALL. I mean i get androgyny (I've played final fantasy games) but there is blurring the gender lines and then there is CANT DRAW FACES. With something that horribly distracting you could be doing Shakespeare here and i STILL wouldn't watch it. Zero stars. Full fail.

This anime series has made me bang my head on my desk from laughing, tear up, and face palmed myself from the unexpected twists. I personally prefer the manga but this is just as great. The story line has been kept the same but shorten; which is my only disappointment. Still this is great anime to watch!
