Conan keeps his political views hidden. And wisely so. He shouldn't alienate any segment of the audience. But I still can't help being curious about what they are. In all the years that I have watched him, I still haven't a clue what they might be. What are your thoughts on this?

He's obviously a liberal like most comedians. It's hard to be a conservative if your job involves making non "family friendly" jokes.Plus, he seems like a pretty progressive and not overly-religious guy.

Well he did have a segment where he had gimps making out for a laugh. So I guess we can eliminate ring-wing religious conservative.

Yes I have little doubt that he is at least left leaning. I do find it refreshing that he makes an effort to hide his political views. You can see it in his jokes and in his treatment of Obama, look at how he presented the healthcare debate. Honestly Bill Maher is such a hypocrite, and I think the more these arrogant contemptible LIBERALS and SOCIALIST like Maher and Obama talk about how lowering taxes is dumb and that government needs to have a greater role in our lives the more people get wise to the way things should be.

The contemptible socialist agenda brought us social security, medicare, medicaid, and the post office. There are some other examples. These programs haven't failed and they actually made and had plenty of money. Politicians as a whole decided since the programs had surpluses they would spend it on something else. Do you even remember anything or are you young? I seem to recall a republican named George HW Bush. His campaign slogan and speech of "No new taxes" is what got him elected. I don't know about you but I can tell you republicans and democrats (middle lower class) weren't happy.Honestly people need to quit with the slogans and back any idea that we actually get in a bill. I will give you that Maher tries to portray himself as just being honest or intelligent but he does have some valid points with certain things. The constant back and forth between both party followers is getting old and the regular people are stuck in the middle of two fourth graders.
