This satirical show will appeal to those who like to laugh at the expense of pop-culture.

I wish there were more shows out there like this. I love these two girls - they are smart, witty, and amazing. Keep up the good work!

Josh J. After reading your post I believe your 1st sentence is a lie.
This is pure comedy at the cutting edge of comedy. Josh you say it at the end but no sorry I don't think you get it. Your either too old or too young to understand this show is a satire on shallowness and self-centeredness (yes I know those are not real words) of people these days in general "It's poorly focused ramblings based on shallow characters. Shallow on levels: Not only are their persona's exceptionally closed-minded, but they're also 1 dimensional." They're trying to be that way, and those are the people they aim to satire and they do a great job. The wit is so there it’s uncanny. Everyone should watch this show, plus they're both really cute

Don't make the episodes any longer. Don't add your friends in as special guests, don't even change the font for the headlines on the media clippings.
This show is driven by the charm and off-the-cuff wit of these two girls. It doesn't need anything more. Nor do we need to spend much time to get the full effect -- about 2 minutes is plenty. For making the right conceptual decisions, and being cute and witty girls, they get 3 stars.

Now, before anyone accuses me of being a "hater", I'm real big on comedy. I know comedy, I write comedy, I love comedies... This is not a "comedy." It's poorly focused ramblings based on shallow characters. Shallow on levels: Not only are their persona's exceptionally closed-minded, but they're also 1 dimensional.
Someone else compared this to "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report", and I couldn't disagree more. It's clearly an attempt at jumping into the same genre, but the wit isn't there. The jokes aren't funny, the bits are half-assed, and the only moment of true entertainment out of the 6 episodes I watched came from still images of one of the two hosts sitting on the toilet with a laptop. Seriously. That was the high point. I get what they're trying to do here, and the concept isn't a bad idea. The execution, however, makes this show the video equivalent to botched boob-job: I'm looking at what they wanted me to be looking at, but instead of turning me on, it makes me want to vomit. Watch something else.

Finally a show where girls rule. I'm a fan of the Cobert Report and The Daily Show, but we need one with girls, and the answer? The Skinny: Fat Free News.
Well done ladies.
This reaches out to my generation.

Now, on to The Skinny. I love these episodes, I think the girls do a wonderful job and it's a great original idea. True they go in and mess with people, but guess what, that's comedy. I do wish the episodes were a little longer so we could get more set up. Wish they were 3-4 minutes long, but I guess I'll take 2 min.
I look forward to see what kind of trouble these two get in coming episodes. It's about time that brunettes ruled the world.

The idea by "15 Gigs" is a little nuanced, so I'll spell it out. Two girls (real) provide commentary (scripted) that is funny (not) about news stories (real), and then go interact with people (not in on the joke) who are in some way tangentially related to the news story. In this first clip, they talk about an article that speculates that women are biologically programmed to marry for money. After firing off a couple of bon mots about marrying older men for money, they go to an old folks home and make fun of the old people there. It's about as not-funny as it sounds. Confusing concept, terrible execution, and mean-spirited to boot. Easily the worst show of the week, and I write that not yet having seen any other shows.
