I was a lot younger when this first came out and like many movies before and after it I got the book to read too. This movie is a classic and I love it from the story to the music.

Talk about a real classic, the art is dynamic, dark, and imaginative.
The story is well done, with creative characters and a story done in an interesting way.
Probably Don Bluths best film ever.

I love this movie- I grew up watching it and I got older started to actually understand it. Like most movies like this- it was made in a time that there were serious messages about society- and people in general. This outright speaks about NIMH- the national institute for Mental Health- net time watch it and look for the grown up message. It truly is a wonderful movie also.

I'm surprised I never cought this one before, I loved it!! Very well created, fun to watch as well. I liked the story a lot too, unusual to see something like this today. I MISS HAND-DRAWN ANIMATION D:

I've loved this movie ever since I was a child. Even though there were scary parts, I was enchanted by the visuals of the world from a mouse's point of view and her plight to protect her family from the dangers they face. In this age where computer-generated animation is king, the hand-painted style makes me feel nostalgic and regretful that the art is no longer (or rarely) being practiced. Glad to see this is on Hulu and that new audiences have a chance to see it.

When I was growing up we rarely have cable. We would spend most of our time renting movies. This was one of my very favorite movies. I loved the "magic" in the animation. It definatly reminds me of some really great childhood memories.
