Compared to the rest of the drivel geared towards female audiences these days, this was a refreshing change of pace. It's a modern day "Kate and Allie" and a shame that it was kicked off the air before it really hit its stride (Just like so many other quirky shows that don't easily fall into neat little cookie cutter categories created by the networks.) I applaud the effort and hope to see more shows like it in the future. (Although I've got to admit, I wanted more of this one!!!) I know a lot of people dig one hour dramas, but there's something to be said for the joyful simplicity of a sitcom with fun and complex characters like this one (Of course it didn't hurt to have two fantastic talents playing the lead parts!!) There's my two cents.
