Ok the first 5 episodes were interesting. Then things went downhill (for me). But I watched it 'till the end. I gave it a shot. The ending was interesting and abrupt. There was a time jump. Still a good drama to watch compared to some other ones.

Before the king asked him to beg for forgiveness that man...the one that the queen has save them hit him in the head, that's when his vision goes blurry. Maybe that has something to do with it. See 4 other replies

Did anybody notice that the waterfall place from episode 14 is the same place from kdrama "Warrior Baek Dong Su"? Is it a famous spot or what? Is there an official name? I'd like to know so when I visit South Korea I can check the place out too. :)

The murder thing her dad planned is wrong, but the princess Se Ryung is so darn stupid. She is willing to sacrifice her family for love. And the guy doesn't even know who she really is. I am not really buying into this love thing. I don't know how to explain it... I like these actors, and historical dramas, and romance dramas but this one is not really getting my support. (I'm on Episode 9 right now).

I don't throw 5 star ratings around lightly. This drama is very watchable, very likable and well executed. The scheming and plotting keep everything moving. The relationships aren't overacted and most of them make sense. There was only one conflict in the love square that I didn't find relevant or real. This could almost (ALMOST) stand next to QSD but teeters a few notches down the totem pole because our main hero lacks the iconic appeal and charismatic draw that dearest Bidam possesses. Also there aren't any bad guys to sympathize with or hate to the bone with the exception of the main antagonist. The romance between the characters is straight forward but fun to watch. I particularly favored one match above all others. I don't want to spoil anything, but it's not the couple in the poster photo above.
