The Mercury Men

This was never on TV. This is a web series. Meaning low budget, and not a lot of time or resources to produce. Web series seldom run more than a few minutes. And being that you didn't watch any of the show, you have no idea how well they segmented each part of this story into each block. On top of all that, this is supposed to be reminiscent of old 1940s-50s serials, which were no more than a clip of a story at a few minutes each. They did a much better job of making each segment unique and interesting here, though, than the old serials. Back then, you didn't wait a week to see the outcome. You likely never saw the rest if your parents didn't take you to the theater on a regular basis.   See 2 other replies

And obviously, you probably miss out on may things that are good in life due to a narrow view of the way things should be. This is a market test, a new way for television to decide if they are willing to spend money and resources, without disappointing viewers who may invest time watching a regular program that may just end up be cancelled. Good examples of this were Firefly, Caprica & Stargate Universe. I would suggest you give it try. Besides, if you want something more like a regular TV show you can always turn on the "Auto play" feature and watch them one after the other, right?   See 2 other replies
