Jonathon "The Impaler" Sharkey, a Hecate Witch, Satanic Dark Priest and Sanguinary Vampire, runs for governor of Minnesota and captures the attention of the nation.
Jonathon "The Impaler" Sharkey threw himself into the race for Minnesota Governor on January 13, 2006. His thirteen point platform included helping farmers, improving the public school system, and advocating for better benefits for United States veterans. However, it was his "coming out" to the media as a Hecate Witch, Satanic Dark Priest and Sanguinary Vampire that grabbed Jonathon National and International attention. His candidacy marked the beginning of the largest amount of media coverage ever given to an unknown third party candidate running for Governor in American history.
Really good job on the movie and thanks for the fun and honest interview. I look forward to seeing a lot more of our work in the future.

To Hulu or the director:Great interview. Any chance you might broadcast a director's commentary, even if it's for a weekend? That would be fascinating!

Thank you for a wonderful interview, and compelling movie. It's nice to find out you are so normal after watching something so strange. After reading this the movie makes more sense but I have a good deal of questions still if you check on this anymore. I understand how important it was to show the children in the same house with that man but were you ever bothered by what you saw? And did you know much about those alternate religions before you began filming, was that a topic you ever studied?Regards

Awesome interview. I find it great how you can devote so much time and artistic care into this but at the same time be so warm and down to earth. Great job with this, can't wait to see more of your work.

Just a great interview all around. While the idea of a Jonathon show sounds good I think Jonathon and his past is a tad too dark to compete with all the other shows. I've seen The End of America and was able to recognize when you (Tray White) were holding the camera, and loved hearing your voice behind the camera for a completlt different subject. What I would like to know is what your next project is and when it is going to come out. Also will you stay with the minimal Neoist style or change according to your subject?
