I agreed with your comment in regards to the Queen & Bidam as I didn't quite feel it either. Perhaps like commented by Choi Jihoo, it was a plotline thrown in due to the show being extended for an extra 11 episodes. I could barely keep tears from cascading down my face for every scene that Yushin & Deokman were in together. They had an epic love.

Yes, you do need to watch more than 3 episodes of a 62 episode show to have an opinion, Susanne Eby. These historical Korean dramas have a lot of depth to them, and it usually takes at least 5 or so episodes to get going. Only someone who appreciates this kind of art can understand that and appreciate it. If you don't appreciate it, don't watch it...it's that simple. Everyone doesn't have to like the show, but making a remark like that just makes you seem closed minded and uninformed.

Stephen Smith. You do not have to watch past 3 episodes of a 60+ episode show to make an opinion. I commend the person for even going that far.
That's three hours and you can write A LOT for three hours worth of material. The point I understand is not that he only watched three episodes or three hours of blah, but that the person couldn't stomach even one more episode. Now THAT makes it sound bad.
This person's OPINION is justified by saying that even after sitting for three hours the show did not entice him to watch it.
If I don't like something after two hours I am most definitely not watching it. This person would probably get a headache and nausea from boredom and annoyance trying to watch another episode. So he stated his opinion to leave for others who probably have his tastes to read that comment just in case they don't want to get mixed in it.
You, however, blindly went off in a volcanic and unreasonable rage. You learn why she needs the king at episode 30? So 30 hours later....You just answered why I would never watch this show. Shows like these are incredibly dull and drawn out to me especially when it has that many episodes.
As a rule I don't even bother to try, because I know the formula film guys are supposed to use in the movie industry and it's no different for tv shows. For one that long. NO.
Unfortunately this person does not and whole heartedly expressed his opinion of three hours wasting his time (about the same as a Pixar movie told well in far less time).
Then there's people who like this sort of thing like you. They can read those comments where they would probably kiss the asses of these koreans. However if a person wants a little warning of what they're getting into it, let them read the comment as a precursor.
I had enough of my film teacher to know how this will go. I don't want to be bored to death. Neither did that person and neither does anyone who wants a more well rounded review of the good and the bad rather than "it was awesome!" or "it was terrible!".
You...? Perhaps in the future as you put it you should give those long winded reviews some actual thought. Though thinking may not be your best attribute (yes, that is an insult not a misunderstanding).
