Where I come from we call it pedophilia when adults have sex with 15 year old minors. But I guess others would just call it coming of age. If you don't like stories of children being exploited, you will not like this movie. I see now why this movie was put in the horror section. I must have missed the sequel, "Anna Goes To Prison". Then again maybe some people like this kind of stuff, and ignore the double standard. If Anna's character had been a man he would have been justifiably reviled for his behavior, but since Jacqueline Bisset as Anna, was smoking hot and Wes Stern as Kenny was a virgin misfit, that somehow makes it ok. Somehow this movie reminds me more of "Lolita" than "The Graduate", (at least Dustin Hoffman was of age).

Wes Stern is probably still kinking himself for passing on The Graduate, if he actually did, his character in here is similar in some way to Dustin Hoffman's in The Graduate, and both movies are a coming age for teenage boys. The people who did the movie Class must have seen this movie, and decided to cast Jacqueline Bisset as Andrew McCarthy's love interest, in Class he's having affair with Jacqueline Bisset's character, and she's mother of his best friend.
This movie got him his only two appearances on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.

I loved every minute, and i am very happy for my boy kenny.

This movie was made in 1969 - therefore an R rating then is probably a PG13 rating now. Duh. I wasn't even alive until 12 years later and I know this.
Secondly, hulu has misclassified this as horror and suspense. I get it. But if you'd even read the description, it's fairly obvious it's not that. It's a coming of age story. It's American Pie for 1969. In fact, the characters are pretty close to the same. Jim (or maybe a bit Finch) is Kenny, Nadia is Anna, and Oz is Mike (not really sure who Tommy is, but you get the picture).
If you don't like old movies then why did you watch it? I mean, it's not like hulu misrepresented the YEAR.
If you like old movies, coming of age stories, and smoking hot but still innocent looking women, this is a great movie.
PS If only more 14-17 year olds today knew that most of their friends are lying.... :)

Movies then were more simple...or slow you'd say. It was a great expose of young boys and the "things" they go through. I think it caught those emotions well and was very funny in doing so. Jacqueline was very sexy and did her part very well.

this film was a bit slow in parts, but it was pretty funny.
go ahead and watch for some pretty awkward moments. cool scenes of the late 60's niagra falls as well.

I also skipped around through the whole movie. Didn't find a part that captured my attention. And Noah, that last 5 minutes; there's more skin in a Jenny Craig commercial than in the snipet you are referring too. You really think that was worth an additional star?
