Since it has been 3 months since" Bobbielyn" reviewed this it may not help her but the reason you probably didn't see it on tv is because it was on Masterpiece Theater, so unless u watch PBS you wouldn't see it. I didn't know about it either, but I watched it all. I am not sure what you mean by "does it cover the whole diary" but like all movies of Anne Frank it is an excellent summary of "the whole story from the time she first got her diary for her birthday, went into hiding, who joined them and helped them, till they were arrested and sent to the camps. Pretty amazing job for 2 and a half hours. The actors did a great job and I think the resemblances to how they looked in real life is amazing too. I have many books about her and have seen all versions of her story as far as I know and this is definately worth your time if you have an initerest in that part of history. I still can't get over how long Miep Gies lived (just passed away Jan. 2010), and always feel sad that they were within weeks of being liberated before they were arrested...
