The David Susskind Show

I certain agree, the David Ogilvy interview was 'Brillant'! Mr. Susskind skillfully used and perfected the art of the television interview, thereby setting a very high standard. It seems that only the 'Actor's Studio' dares to come as close to the bar set by David Susskind.

I like David Susskind and dont' agree with other childish and vain people that feel they need to knock him to feel more secure. The man did an interview show for almost 30 years along with producing plays, television shows and a movie before he died. His interview work is nothing short of a masterpiece for the ages that is simply beyond the Intelligence of the modern viewer. The interview with David Ogilvy may be the pinnacle of what's available on Hulu. I suggest those worthy of watching david Susskind, save that interview for a rainy day and behold with keen eyes what television once was. Simply amazing, we need more.   See 1 other reply

Although I find Mr Susskind irritating, this show is an invaluable time capsule. I'd love to see more of these interviews posted. And it doesn't just have to be the famous interviews either. It would be interesting historically to see what the regular viewing audience of the time saw. What use are these anyway. Why not post them to Hulu. Perhaps it would create a new audience.
