Dead on Kojak. I have worked at GE on Jack Welch's corporate audit staff and also in private equity as a turn around specialist. Jack Welch would puke if he watched this. Keys to innovation? "People and close the loop. Innovation is in the big things and the little things..." "Yin and Yang. Ambidextrous... top down but also bottom up... centrifugal forces." What?Sorry Maria, I always imagined that you were an intelligent business person (but never really watched much of your stuff). But after this joke of a show, it is clear you are just an entertainer with great connections. This is SO naive.The problem with most content like this is that it is made by people that have no management experience at all. The nifty stuff Google is doing has NOTHING to do with what a manager needs to do to inspire innovation on her team. And "hiring the right people" is a meaningless phrase.
