Tears to Tiara

I like this anime. It has a good amount of characters. Though mostly revolving around 3 main characters, it also gives good details over supporting characters. The plot is interesting and build up quite nicely, but there are jumps that can confuse people as they skip details on many parts. But that's not the reason for the star off as I don't mind it, I can understand it quite well since I'm used to these condensed anime. The reason is the ending, it's too abrupt and cheesy. Yes, there's somewhat a decent battle there, but there's only 1 of the 11 spirits that they killed, and quite fast too. I wonder if there will be another season. The whole ending moves too fast that even it is contained in 3 episodes, I don't feel like that at all, more like 1 and a half.#SPOILER: Also it tries too hard for a happy ending. I like Taliesin but his reappearance feels somehow forced. And no main/ main support characters died, considering the size of that beast.

The story itself was interesting and the characters were amusing but I did get lost a few times towards the end... Couldnt really figure out how they got from here to there... but working past that flaw in the show it was good. I laughed, and hound myself sitting on edge a few times. Three stars.

cant wait for the 2nd season to come out

Something a lot of the previous reviewers left out is that Tears to Tiara is based on a turn based, strategy RPG for the PS3 and PC. I'm also seeing some negative stances on historical inaccuracies and nitpicking on character outfits. Seriously? This is anime. What did you expect? I don't watch anime for a freaking history lesson! That's what the history channel is for. What I want to see are great fight scenes, great music and some epic story telling to go along with all of that. If that's what you're looking for in an anime, Tears to Tiara delivers on all counts.
