Tabitha is full of herself and her crisp British accent. Tabitha is unprofessional: foul language, lording her "authority" over the staff with the threat of employment termination. Clearly this is nothing but abuse. Tabitha evidently learned her style from her dominatrix. My take on Tabitha is because she is not American, she has no sense of fun or grace. There is a way to promote personal and professional pride in one's craft, but shock therapy is not a valid method. Bravo should never have aired this program. Shame on Bravo for promoting this kind of "management style."
If Tabitha had any business sense at all, she would nurture her client's assets rather than berate and criticize. If I were a salon owner I would never subject my staff to such bullying tactics. Most importantly, never correct management in front of the staff.
If any of you reading this have been the subject of her tirades, forget her, cultivate your creative talents as hairdressers, and enjoy life!
